Step by step process to fix your bad credit

It can be really stressful to live with bad credit in your accounts, but there is some help available that you can use to fix credit which is looking a tedious task right now. You have to take steps to improve your credit ratings and need to change your thoughts towards money. Here are some steps you can take to fix your bad credit:



  • Requests for a copy of your credit report from all three credit reporting bureaus. And if you find some error in your credit report, ask all three bureaus to fix that.

  • If bad marks are available in your credit report due to outstanding debts, repay them as early as possible. And focus on repaying the highest interest outstanding first.

  • And if your debts are huge, get in touch with a non profit credit counseling company to work out a debt consolidation plan.

  • Sell some valuable assets to repay your debts and close your credit accounts.

  • Work with your credit counselor to repay all of your debts

  • And once you have paid all your outstanding debts, apply for a new credit card and try to build a good credit history.
